Chrysler’s had a lot of recalls on these TIPM Computer modules. Please regulate all the power to just about everything on the vehicle. There’s all sorts of gremlins I can give problems. To perform a hard reset I need to disconnect the battery and connect the positive and negative leads together to drain the capacitors. Then when you hook everything back up everything‘s reset **************************************************

I have a 2010 Dodge Caliber and only the low beam headlight on the passenger side is working. If I turn on the bright headlights, only the drivers side works. Only the front right turn signal works along with the drivers side rear turn signal. Also my taillights aren't working, but my brake lights are. What could be wrong? Could this be a Tipm problem and would a hard reset and cleaning work or do I need to get my Tipm repaired or buy another Tipm?
The TIPM has been the source of a lot of problems on my 2012 Chrysler 200S. Lots of gremlins including: intermittent wipers, no rear window demister, horn honks randomly, cruise control doesn't work, etc. Got a quote from a mechanic for $900 to replace TIPM but he said no guarantee it'd fix all the problems. Got a used TIPM off eBay for $80, put it in myself, voila everything worked, that was over 4 years ago. Now I've got intermittent horn beeps so I'm doing the reset like in this video- fingers crossed!
My 03 ram 1500 has a battery draw, it will die if i dont use the truck for a couple days. The mechanic said its the tipm and it needs to be replaced. Will a reset help with this?

I am fixing cars after these 'masters'.
First – rubbing alcohol contains water. If you really want to clean it – use pure isopropanol alcohol.
Second – this silicon grease has no meaningful benefits. Instead, if your equipment gets exposed to water, this grease keeps it inside increasing chances for corrosion.
Lastly, keeping terminals connected for days is for stubborn voodoos – there's nothing that needs this much time to reset, especially if you disconnect your TIPM that breaks the entire circuit in your car (well, except the starter that has its own leads)
My issue is my headlights are not turning on. Mechanic shop say it’s the tipm. The brights work. The fog lights work my rear lights work but one of my rear light is not fully red like the other one. So idk if it the tipm or they said some relay. And on my 2018 jeep compass limited . No where on the book has anything for a fuse for the headlights . I want to throw this car away
On my 2009 chrysler sebring 3.5L its the AC and cruise control thats not working and the compressor is only getting 9v instead of 12v. Mechanic says theres no power getting from the TIPM to the AC
