i thought that metal screws through metal holes on the amp into the metal
on your truck will always cause problems. I have tried it before and had
small issues

Sonic Electronix says:

Those are the StreetWires ZN9 series of cables. Really nice cables. Solid
connection. Low Noise. The smooth, clear tubing makes installation easy.
Overall.. great RCAs

bla01r says:

I would never let Sonix install that into my car, at the point where you
put to extra screws to “hold” it in place, that’s when I shaked my head.

And never had any problems or

Review : is.gdKQRnsn Customer Reviews: this amp is awsome, and great cost.
you can adjust the setting easy, and change the lighting colors of the amp
to what you like or the cars color, the bass control is good to have if you
dont want too much sound. i never had a issue with any of MTX’s products

they should have all white on black is to hot bro if i was the manager all
my guys will have all white on to keep cool i hate black you can burn up in
black

imjustakid22 says:

@SonicElectronixTV actually im returning that hifonics back to you guys.
Then im going after that mtx, depending on what you guys do with it when
you get it will determine how long it will be until I get the MTX. The
light is a nice feature because everything else im my truck is blue lights.
The size of the amp is a little problem though because I have a regular cab
truck, maybe I will put it under the seat like you did here.

Sonic Electronix says:

@imjustakid22 Get to selling that other amp! The MTX Audio TE601D
amplifiers are definitely among our personal favorites here at
SonicElectronix. The amazing lighting colors can be adjusted to your
preference, and also the clean power output and active fan cooling
technology really make this amplifier shine above the rest! Let’s not
forget how cool it looks either =]

Sonic Electronix says:

@bigben1018 Take a DMM (Digital Multimeter) and take a VDC measurement of
the power wire while using the ground for your negative. Monitor the
multimeter during playback – if the voltage drops heavily when the
amplifier cuts out then your power/ground connection is the problem.

QuranGoodman43 says:

amps with fans built inside r good

bigben1018 says:

I just install an amp in my truck, my amp cuts on and off, but how do i
know if its grounded correctly because it still cuts on and off with out
the ground.

Sonic Electronix says:

@ithree6mafia If you are referring to the TE601D then the 601D is the
better amplifier. Thunder Elite amplifiers are the top of the line for MTX
Audio. They have better technologies and run better components to run more
efficiently. However the JH600 is still a good amplifier, MTX Audio makes
great products no matter what line we are talking about and both will work
for your subwoofers. If you want my personal opinion go with the Thunder
Elite.

Sonic Electronix says:

@2fast4all Here at Sonic we believe that MTX Audio has made improvements on
their already amazing amplifiers. The Thunder Elite series and Jackhammer
series both of integrated cooling fans that speed up depending on the
output of the amplifier. They’ve improved the chassis and overall style on
the Thunder Elites and the integrated circuitry has taken a step up. MTX
Audio does it right in our book, and they’ll continue to improve upon their
products.
