i have a 09 bighorn with alpine sound system with one sub. its under
passangerside rear seat. its cover is broken now. any way of just
unscrewing the very top piece and buying a new one? You can email me if you

Hi I have a question. Does installing amp and subwoofer void the warranty
of ram truck? my is a 2014 and I wanted to install a sound system.
With the amp being placed under the driver seat where your feet would
usually go, if you were sitting in the back… wouldn’t you worry someone
would kick and scratch and possibly damage the amp?

Thanks for the video lots of help! But what cord do you plug the amp into
at the back of the radio box? Also I’m buying an 800 watt amp and two 12″

why does the box have polly in it that is like a bandaid to make the box

If you are trying to connect a subwoofer amplifier you a stock receiver,
there are a coupe ways. The most popular method is to use a line out
converter (LOC) and tap off of the high level outputs of your receiver to
form RCA outputs that can be connected to your amplifier.

@TheHemlen What kind of noise? check all your conections make sure they are
connect tightly. Make sure your enclosure doesn’t have any cracks, make
sure you are providing the correct amound of power to the subwoofer. If the
noise is a crackling noise you more than likely blew your subwoofer. Just
double check everything and make sure you the woofer wired correctly.
how do you suggest getting a double din into the 1.5 din slot? Seems that
this persons fit well and looked somewhat factory.

I agree cut the music and also let us hear the set up in the vehicle to
examine the sound of the sub set up and the din and speakers 🙂

hey i know this doesnt have to do with the video but i recently bought a
Pioneer TS-SW3001S2 sub and want to know if you could tell me a good amp
and a good wiring kit to go with it i want an amp thats kinda on the
cheaper side but not a piece a shit ha -thanks-

With a 1000W monoblockamp, would the 4 ohm or the 2 ohm be better if i want
two of them? I have a ext cab sierra if that matters soundwise
@TheCummins58 You will need to use a head-unit to send an audio signal and
power up the speakers. If you are on a tight budget, you can always visit
Pick-A-Part and purchase an inexpensive radio that’s in one of the
vehicles. There are also tons of cheap head-units you can find on eBay.
@leslieandchad You generally want to avoid mounting an amp on an enclosure,
but if you must, be sure to mount the amp vertically. This helps heat
dissipation and may prevent more complicated issues in the future.
@jdawggey It depends if your monoblock amplifier outputs the power at 2
Ohms, or 4 Ohms. The reason this matchup works in the video is because
we’re using two TT6510 subwoofers (Dual 2 Ohms) wired in series/parallel
back to 2 Ohms. For more information on subwoofer wiring, I’d recommend to
check out our subwoofer wiring diagram, which can be found in our knowledge
base.
@hondaonchrome2002 The upgraded Thunder Thin subwoofers do allow for
increased SPL and a little more responsive excursion. They can handle about
double the power of the the 4500 series subwoofers, which will allow them
to have more smooth response, as well as SPL. The stock 4500’s are also
great options to go with, but if you’re interested in an increase in
overall output as well as quality in responsiveness it’s noticeable with
the upgrade to the Thunder Thin’s.
So is it better in your opinion to have the subs face up or down?

is what i did look carefully at the sub you should see some screws and all
you do is unscrew it and it come out or unscrew it and place a diffrent sub
