Kenneth Kline says:

Great Videos as usual, good information for people that would like to attempt to do it themselves. I enjoy working on cars and don't always know how to do all of the stuff because I'm not actively working as a mechanic. So I wanted to say thank you for what you do with the videos.

tim T says:

How much did this cost to do for the customer?

Myron Smith says:

Smart trick on those broken studs. In my head I thought you would have welded the nut to the block in the process. Nice skills

Myron Smith says:

Wow I have the same door bell.I keep looking at the front door

Cappi Orp says:

One word describes your video: Excellent!

VK says:

New subscriber, like what isee

Robert Kutz says:

eric nice work.

Richard Knopf says:

Nice to see someone that knows what they are doing! I have done seven hemi motors exactly like this, the only one I could not do in the vehicle was my jeep commander 5.7, there was absolutely no room to work! I found it is actually quickest to unbolt the y-pipe remove the heads and do the job out of the vehicle

Paul B says:

Another excellent video.

As a side note: this business of torquing bolts 'by feel' has always puzzled me. If people could do this reliably, there would surely be no need for torque wrenches. I accept that long experience gives a better sense of what '18 lbs of torque' feels like: but I wonder if any mechanic has ever tested his sense of 'feel' against actual measurement, particularly given that the state of the parts, lubrication condition and so on vary so much.

I also wonder how big the ballpark for error really is. Presumably '18 lbs' is the middle of a range of acceptable values. But is it plus or minus on the order of 5%? Or 10%? Or plus 5 and minus 10? Is over-tightening more dangerous than under-tightening?

Guile Stan says:

Wondering if you use anti seize for the bolts going into the motor? Also did you use the gasket that came with the manifold or and aftermarket one? Going to install some headers on my 05' and looking to get some information. BTW great videos, I will be referencing them when I do the install.

qualityrenov says:

No anti-seize on the bolts that go through the block?!

Terrance Williams says:

I'm having trouble with my manifold gasket as well. I have a 2004 Durango and its been making ticking noise for a while now. What could I use to get the broken manifold bolts out without using a welder?

tom vervecken says:

Nice vid's, thx

Servo Army says:

Great Vid! I've got the exact same job ahead of me… hopin' the welder works! Thanks for taking the time!

Joe Tiller says:

I'm driving a old school 89 chevy truck with 350 the manifolds on it were put on in the factory when it was built never been off so whats going with these late model trucks.

J McCracken says:

Good job watched these two videos early morning . So these evenings viewing will be with Hot buttered popcorn and a soft drink. Thanks for taking the time to record these. As I said I am a retired Mechanic and don't miss it a bit. LOL

Al Blazek says:

did you have to loosen up the back of the y pipe or no let me know thanks good video also

Jan Verschueren says:

As an aside, as crusty and as salt covered as these cars you work on are, I bet there's now some Russians watching these videos wondering why one would want one's car to rot away just because there's some snow on the roads.

David Sawyer says:

Hello Mr. Eric. Like some others these videos are watched more for entertainment then knowledge. Your sense of humor is the draw. That said, it seems as though no one in your area brings in a Chrysler product with the 3.5 from 2005 to 2008. Hopefully in the future someone does. Great vids. Keep it up.

Glycerin says:

Sounds like you got a 7-11 in your shop 😛

Lincoln Grayson says:

what is the estimated cost for that job?

Nicholas Dominguez says:

Damn good job!

Danny Harrison says:

Good Job….
