@DudexW7x It *might* make a difference, but I don’t think it will be
anything significant. Most of the tone and sound is controlled by the
resonance in the muffler.

Hey I got a question. When putting on the exhaust if I was to leave the mid
pipe the same diameter but increased the pipeing on the back end after that
would this make it louder?
oh hell that’s not even the 5.7L V-8 Hemi! It’s still a V-8 but no hemi.

No problem, thanks for the kudos! The Flowmaster American Thunder is pretty
darn loud, but if you want louder, the Gibson Sport Truck Exhaust would be
the way to go. It’s a bolt-on installation, super loud and deep, this
system exits before the rear passenger tire, similar to the Ford Lightning
Trucks. And the price is quite reasonable for a cat-back.
If you’re into the Metal Mulisha look, we’ve got some FAT exhaust tips, up
to 8″ in diameter. 🙂

got this on my 08 4.7 with a volant cai sounds really good. i got a 6′ lift
with 35s and the tips look a lil tiny now so im going to just put diff tips
on now.

Yes, Flowmaster makes a bunch of kits for the Hemi’s. If you click the

can see what options are available.
