Good video. Good troubleshooting. I had same issue. I disassembled and
cleaned the ignition switch – interesting fruitless exercise. Remove and
inspect the resistor network (RN) first. My issue was a 2-wire connector
on the RN pack had a poor spade lug connector (LC). It heated, oxidized
and melted part of the connector. I cleaned the RN terminals up. Replaced
the LCs (threw away the melted plugin connector) it works again. Took a
few hours and $2-3 for the new LCs. Seems good and dependable.
Greatly appreciate this bud. You just saved me from buying a 90 dollar
motor. 15 bucks and now we are back in business.
