Gabriel Agustín Carrizo says:

Hi, I have the same problem, sometimes when it rains the whole system is activated and it works, or when the heating works all, but only sometimes … the winks do not work, and the windshield wipers go alone.

Terry Lusk says:

On 03 2500 ram. Do I have to take steering wheel off ??????

Chetty Cherry says:

Very detailed, Thank you

Quentin Jacobsen says:

It works almost the same for my 2005 dodge durango however the t20 Torx screw behind the lover that adjust the steering wheel is not there. I had to hold down the plastic along with the lever and bend the plastic bottom panel piece down enough to remove the bottom screw on the signal switch relay. How do you remove the steering wheel adjustment lever on my 2005 Dodge Durango.

Cole Durbin says:

I tried this and the thing wouldn't come out so easily. Took a lot of force to pull out. Everything else was fine

THANK YOU! Went just as shown, part from 1A fit perfectly. Saved a trip to the dealer and being at their mercy for the cost of parts and labor.

Wow! Thanks.. I changed mine 6 years ago the hard way, removing steering wheel and airbag. I had to change it again and did it this way. Quick and easy!

Peter Ossowski says:

Perfect walkthrough – got my '04 Ram 1500 fixed in 15 min with the A1 replacement switch and this video. Small difference on the tilt lever on my year: the rubber cover just slid off, there was no screw.

Stephen Kelly says:

Mine is a 2004.5 dodge ram 2500 and is nothing like this. It doesn't slide in and out. Must disassemble the entire steering wheel.

Keslie Peterson says:

will it work for 2004 Dodge Durango as well

GTOCF says:

Very good, helpful video. But the 2005 Dodge RAM tilt lever black plastic handle just pulls off use some force pulling down towards the drivers seat.

One main reason for the multi switch failure is someone during assembly put too much grease in the units mechanical area and over time the heat in the summer months allowed the grease to flow all over all of the electrical contacts causing shorts to the switch and making wipers come on when not turned on, and not shut off in some cases. Just open up the unit, remove the grease and reassemble.

But you need to be careful with the switch sliders, be sure you know how to put them back in the correct place.

The wiper intermittent problems car be a relay circuit, a relay, other components in that circuit.

Silas Durocher says:

This was extremely helpful, thanks! Just went through the whole process and it was a success!
