CalebJ77 says:

Remove the windshield wiper housing to get to the back plugs easily on 2001-2007 Minivans.

CalebJ77 says:

Removing the wiper tray is not hard and then you have full access to the back plugs.

starbearer76 says:

why are you holding the camera sideways?

Debbie Hughes says:

this mechanic is a joke!!!!….no rear plugs?????

Tim Bo says:

Now if you could do a video on removing and installing the BACK PLUGS! This video might be complete.

destinymann says:

When I change wires I do them one at a time to avoid getting them mixed up.

Amanda D. Weathers says:

Why did you not show the actual replacement of the back plugs? You refer to it, but that’s it.

Jeramie Curtice says:

You call a mechanic. Or you can do it yourself and waste 1/2 a day making mistakes trying to figure it out.

dridley11 says:

love how you just totally didn’t talk about the rear plugs. You didn’t do the rear plugs did you?

LIBERTYorD34TH says:

Ps my 2008 3.0 grand caravans back plugs are a biotch

LIBERTYorD34TH says:

Why not just go one plug/wire at a time a relieve all the nonscence or use different color twist ties to label each wire/plug no need to even risk it. When i was taught tune ups were told never to just take it off and guess later when its very easily avoided.

Derrick Clark says:

the wires are marked with what cylinder they go to, and the front three are different lengths so it’s plain to see which one they go to, duh.

MplsWheels says:

I did my 2005 today. It’s not that hard to do the back plugs. As shown in this video, taking off the air duct will help give access to #1 cylinder. I reached #3 and #5 by reaching around the right side of the engine from the top. The only extra tool you might want to have is a universal swivel for your socket wrench. I saved myself $250 doing this job myself today!

Hamster Page says:

Shocked you pulled 3 wires off. I have to take off one at a time. I would surely get them crossed unless I marked them. My back plugs on my 1996 caravan were accessible from underneath.

outerrealm says:

gee, could you make the shot any narrower?

Jason Yousef says:

+1 here for (raul gomez) Show us something we don’t know like changing the back plugs?

prmayner says:

The ps reservoir has the two bolts on top and then one nut just to the pass. side of the coil pack if you look over you can see a stud pointing towards the rear it’s a 10mm deep and you just LOOSEN it and the reservoir pulls straight up.

prmayner says:

I’m doing an 05 right now and i was wondering the same thing about the rear but since mine didn’t come in for that i’m taking the upper intake off, to fix rotted insulation on #6 injector and the coil connector. It came in for a no start and sounded like it had jumped time but it was the bare wires on the ignition coil connector. You can replace the rear plugs without taking plenum off but it’s harder 6 of one half dozen of the other, If you want to take the plenum off it’s really not that bad.

SuperBankoo says:

I was waiting for the back side

SCORPION1720 says:

WHY MAN WHY

SCORPION1720 says:

stebogreen 1 WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOUR BRAIN ? I WAS WAITING FOR YOU TO SHOW ME HOW TO REPLACE ALL SIX SPARK PLUGS YOU FUCKING IDIOT YOU STUPID IM SO FUCKING MAD AT YOU WHY WHY WHYYYYYYYYYY

tstoneami says:

I just changed the plugs on my 2007 3.8 Caravan. I was able to reach behind the motor and change the plugs by feel. I did change the power steering resevoir and had it removed at the time I did the back plugs – this did help me. For those of you experiencing a whineing sound from the steering – if you change the PS resevoir and flush the system (there is a vid here on youtube) the sound will go away – highly recommended …. peace t

AnthonyS170 says:

I was hoping to see the backside removed too.

Patrick Roberts says:

obviously everyone thinks you suck, just take your worthless video down

hank williams says:

please note!!!!! DO NOT PUT ANTI SEIZE ON THIS VEHICLE OR ANY OTHER WITH A DISTRIBUTOR-LESS IGNITION SYSTEM. This will eventually cause a misfire. If you want more information research the reasoning’s behind this.

mannys9130 says:

For everyone wanting to know about the back odd cylinder plugs, take the cowl off under the wipers for a bit better access. Other then that, just reach and feel by hand. Not that hard.

Fortunatone says:

So skip the hard part that everyone came here to see. Changing the fronts is simple. I guarantee you lifted the van and came in from behind to do the rear ones. Worthless video.

fordwindsor351 says:

@Exavier Rivas on my 07 T&C touring with the 3.8 i get up to 33.4 at 65 mph.

edgarfavila55 says:

Wtf i was waitn for him to change the back spark plugs

raul gomez says:

Show us something we don’t know like changing the back plugs? One Mechanic told me that since his arms are long. He jacks up the Van and reaches from the bottom. I often wonder how many Mechanics actually change the back when they do a Tuneup. When I did a set on a different type of vehicle I had to take the Plenum off. That was a PITA on my back. But it was easier in the long run.

Exavier Rivas says:

How many miles per gallon do you get on your Caravan? I have a ’93 (3.3 eng) v6. with 111,000 miles, i recall driving from florida to tennessee got me about 500 highway miles on a full tank!
but lately on city driving getting about 250-300 mpg on a full tank, inspecting the spark plug wires discovered wire #1 was totally rusted as well as corrosion on the coil’s terminal… could that be the reason that i was getting poor milage?

SaudaraLink says:

I watched the video to see how to put them in the back, but it never showed putting them in the back.

fordwindsor351 says:

also would like to add that its only a myth on being good to put antiseeze on plugs. in todays metals it is not needed

Josh Downing says:

I’m gonna show you how to change the easy plugs. Good luck with the hard ones in back. This video is worthless.

don pepe Vb says:

How do you take off the back plugs ?

kescalante29 says:

why didnt u show how u did the back plugs????

Joe Seely says:

@ 1:25 is why you do them 1 at a time if you don’t have a manual or guide to work off of.

fordwindsor351 says:

no thanks you can keep it and suck on it while you learn more in your auto skills lmao

fordwindsor351 says:

you are so wrong along with anyone else that says different

fordwindsor351 says:

A REAL mechanic? come on man, they do this for money, it takes more time to do it this way therfore charges you more. I recently did mine on a 07 T/C touring with the 3.8 without doing it(removing the wiper section)

fordwindsor351 says:

wow, I didnt make a reply to when i did mine but i had the same situation where i pulled the vacuum hose of the brake booster and didnt even know it. Thankfully i have a long driveway and the problem showed itself before i got on an actual road.

LeeBeez6 says:

Yup, fordwindsor is right, I just did mine. Took about an hour and a half, including half an hour pissing about with the wiper section. Couldn’t get the stupid arms off, even with penetrating oil and a puller!! Forget it. Just reach around back with your right, there’s room. You can’t see the back three but you can feel them.

Just don’t accidentally knock the vacuum hose of the brake booster, and then near-panic when you almost end up in the ditch. Not that I did, of course. Just saying.

fordwindsor351 says:

The rear plugs are not that big of a deal, many say you have to remove the wiper section, i call bullshit on that for i did a spark plug change on my 2007 town and country with the 3.8 with out doing any removing except for the plugs. When doing the rear, you couldnt really see the plugs but if that is the reason people think you have to take things apart, thats funny to me.

javier m says:

it doesnt show you how to take the back spark plugs

sevoak says:

You’re kidding, right? I have seen the video where a guy removes the wiper cover, etc. to do this simple job. He is the only one I have EVER seen do the job that way. A “real” mechanic does it the same way as in this video.

chasjokeatbp says:

actually he said to the owner that the rear spark plugs are still good but if he really wants to change it he has to pay additional $800 buck coz he has to lift up the engine out. !@#$#$# hehehe..

OneLove213livemylife says:

Didn’t show how to remove and place the back spark plugs
