I’m doing the same thing on my 2nd gen 03 neon. There is an alignment
procedure that you have to do on the engine anytime you remove a torque
strut or even a bolt on a torque strut. That’s what I’m having problems
with at the moment. The measurement for engine position is good, but it
runs rough and vibrates quite badly. Getting ready to do a second engine
alignment with all tires on the ground on level pavement in my garage. Hope
that fixes the problem.
Thank you for taking the time to explain the process. Information is the
2nd greatest gift to give.
