I'm beyond frustrated and I can't find anything o, how to remove the entire console part of the power and cigarette outlets.I type in 1999 suburban and all that comes up 2000 and up Ford's and dodges awwwwwww someone please if ya know what and how to remove the entire compartment of the cig and power outlets from a 1998 Chevy suburban please help

I'm not sure how you were able to just push the socket out. I pushed as hard as I could and couldn't get it. Had to take it to the dealer and they helped me get the socket out. There are two tabs on the inside the need to be pushed out to get the socket to break loose.
