There seems to be alot of wires that go to the ignition. I’m having problems (i think it’s a short) With the Van starting. It just “Clicks” Like it’s a battery or Starter. BUT IT’S NOT. Is it POSSIBLE for the wires inside on the tumbler and switch to short out? Thanks Anyone.
also i was able at this point to hook batterie back up and start car with a flat large blade screw driver and drive to parts house and get new part
this worked like a charm for me thank you.
i would add pull the negative post on batterie
and plug the one link to tumbler lock back in. rock wheel back and fort to get out of the stuck position to roll key forward to push pin in to pull lock set out.
Before even watching… The ignition lock cylinder replacement video on the Buick LeSabre 1994 Limited worked out well. Now, when the car dies I can, at least, restart it.
