Hey Martin put up another video! I have sort of a suggestion. I've been involved with (specifically, 1988-1989) Dakotas for almost 30 years now, so for many years I would use Forums to get specific odd-ball details on the trucks… To the point now, I'm probably the #1 expert on those specific trucks lol. That being said, I have finally acquired a new(er) 2005 Dakota, with the 4.7L v8, so referencing these videos is a great help ( as well as the reason why I decided to buy the truck in the first place ) Anywho, I'm no expert on these 4.7 vehicles so I thought it would be cool to have a website to go along with this youtube channel, www . Martinbuilt . com with forums and probably links to the videos going along with whatever subject. Because sometimes its easier for people to open up a text document ( forum ) on their phone and have the instructions in writing as they do it especially with torque values and such. I've pretty much memorized all the torque specs of the 88-89 trucks at this point lol. Anyway just a suggestion, as always thank you Martin for the videos. I'm a professionally trained auto collision tech, if you ever have any autobody questions ( @gittyupalice96)

LZDEN says:

very nicely done Martin, and you did well finding a grille the same colour as the vehicle…great work my friend.

Mr Mo says:

Hey Martin. Does that JB quick weld work better than if you perhaps plastic welded those bolts into place?

Kolonol1 says:

Usually those upper bolts will back out of the grille instead of like they are supposed to…or they will strip or break out…

Kolonol1 says:

I'm doing just the opposite with both of ours…I am putting chrome grills and getting rid of the color match. You can get a new chrome grill for around $45 on ebay.
