You may want to inspect the spark plugs and wires to see if they look ok.
If they’re old you may want to replace them.

I have a 96 s10 2.2 that just had a fuel injector replaced.along with the
rest of the o rings. The injector was leaking gas. The problem was fixed
but now i have poor mpgs i get about 12 15 mpg. There is no check engine
light how can i find out the problem dont want my cat converter to burn out
for running too rich.
