You may want to check the wire harness that runs between the door of the
vehicle and body for a broken or frayed wire that may need to be repaired.

I have the same exact problem on my ’98 Stratus. It seems to get worse when
the weather is hot, but this trend is not completely consistent. The window
motor has been replaced, but that did not help. It always starts working
when I take it to be fixed, so I’ve been told it does not actually have a
problem.
It’s behind the door panel inside of the door. Here’s a video that will

2005 Dodge Stratus – my window is a little freaky. Sometimes it will work
fine for several days in a row then it will decide to quit working while it
is down. When you take the door panel off and and use the switch it works
fine. when you reassemble the door it will work for maybe a week then
nothing. It seem to struggle to go up and down but there doesn’t appear to
be anything blocking the path. Can you help?

How do you know if it is the switch or the motor that is bad?
You could turn the fan on and test the plug that goes to the fan motor with
a test light to see if it has power to it.
My windows is stuck in the down position. Could it be my switch. Before
this happened the driver window would get stuck sometimes, then after
awhile the others started doing the same thing. Then they all got stuck
down and wont come up. What is the problem?
It could be the switch. You may want to also check the window regulator to
see if it has broke.

Most likely the issue is going to relate to the window motor or the window
regulator being bent and causing it to bind.
