No, it appears to be tabs the lock into the piece you are referring to. The
clips that broke off seem to be a part of the back of the headlight housing
If it’s a separate piece that helps secure the headlight to the header
panel, you may be able to get one from the dealer. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Here’s a question. In the process of removing my headlight in my 02 ram
1500, one of the tabs for the top square clip broke off and now I cant get
the headlight to secure on the top corner and it wobbles while driving and
is severely misaligned. is there a way I can still make this light work or
is the only solution to replace the whole housing and everything? Changing
an $11 bulb may have gotten really expensive! Please help!
You may need to follow a wiring diagram to see where it might be failing.

i have a 2006 dodge 1500 not getting no power from the cord is there
another relay fuse ? driver side works both work with high beams but not
the passenger side when regular head lights on . fuse in fuse box is good
and changed the bulb already?

@bagorby The headlights have a different design in 2008 on the Dodge Ram.
The process to remove them may be similar but might not be exactly the same.

this is a good instructional i have many 03 ram 3500’s and a 04 1500 and
they are the same. the t30 needed will have to be very long if u are doing
a heavy duty though and when buying a replacement they change the screw in
bracket every year so it has to be for your exact truck when buying the
part
You may be able to push down on the bumper cover a little bit for more
clearence.

There will be an adjuster on the back of the headlight that you need to
turn in order to raise the main beam. If you aim the lights toward a garage
door or a wall, you will be able to see the beam raise as you turn the
screw. You should be about 25′ away from the wall when aiming them.

Great Video Thanks. The 2006 Dodge Ram has the 3rd bolt located in the
wheel well. Remove water plug from wheel well facing Headlight and you can
access nut with a 10mm socket.

i cant get my socket under the driver side light, the gap between the
bumper and light is to small, any i deads ?
The driverside should be the same way. It there’s a battery in the way you
may need to remove it.
