If the handle is broke. Take the handle off and try to pop the tailgate
open with one of the rods inside.

Thanks a bunch! I just put a tonneau cover on my 2004 Ram 1500 Quad cab,
and want to put a locking handle on it. Now I don’t have to worry about
“surprises” that occur so many times when doing a “simple” job! Great video!
