Matt Trenske says:

Just out of curiosity. How do you get the spare down

Anonymous Anonymous says:

Is there a hump where u went over the rubber grommet for the spare tire?

Andre G says:

Do you guys have a installation for directly to the taillights for trucks that have BLIS

John Puli says:

Curt 56584 5 pin so you dont have to splice into reverse light wire.

Edgar Torres says:

Ok but how do you know what wire to splice the white wire too? Because I saw two wires that are connected to the tail reverse light.

Average Joe says:

Don't use the 3M Scotchlok crimp spices ever. They will let corrosion build up and then the wire will break at those weak points and you will be back fixing it a few years down the road. Just get the Curt 55384 inline tap for the 7 way plug. It comes with a 4 way flat connector build in. Only 1 wire to splice and that's the reverse. Get the double wall heat shrink once you have made the solder joint, just a tiny bit of RV Silicone over the joint, then slide the heat shrink over it for a waterproof connection. Cut the reverse wire on the tap and slide on your heat shrink. Next solder the 3 connections (reverse light from ) OPT7 and the 2 cut wires from the tap) and apply the RV silicone and slide the heat shrink over it. VIOLA! A perfect splice that will ever fail or corrode. Been making waterproof connections for years using this method and have never had 1 failure due to corrosion. I have also fixed hundreds upon hundreds of connections that have failed from the 3M 801 Scotchlok connectors! you'll be happy you too the extra time to do it this way!

OPT& should be showing you guys this method as the one they showed only ruins your wiring where the Scotchloks cut into your wiring exposing it to potential corrosion.

Pull the rubber grommet out of the spare tire tool hole and use either neodymium magnets attached to the 3M tape or use the provided brackets to mount the OPT7. If you mount it just right after the grommet removal, you will have enough room to sneak your tool in! [That's what she said!] LOL

Richard Sipe, Jr says:

So how do you access the hole for the spare tire in order to lower it with the strip covering the access? 2018 Dodge Ram 2500

Christopher Basinski says:

Make one without the full second delay and I'm sold…

Dom Amabile says:

how do you know witch ones the reverse wire

MADAM X says:

those blue connectors are problematic

earl's small segment shop says:

You just fixed it so you cant get to the spear tire lol

Bradley Shelton says:

You show connection the reverse light wire to the black on the Ram,,black didn't work for me,but the purple one did

Byron Nicholas says:

Can this be installed on a Tahoe?

drnanang says:

Hello. Good day. Can this be intalled on 2008 toyota sequoia? I am trying to figure out but I do not get. I have a volvo XC60 and also wondering if this can be installed on it.

Vaughn Rabbit says:

60 inch right at bottom of tailgate not in the space between bumper and tailgate

M Lat says:

When making this video did they not think that different years have different wire colors? I’m trying to hardwire mine but this video is pretty much useless because of my year. 2015 Ram.

SpacedOut Studios Entertainment says:

Okay so I have a problem. 2015 ram tradesmen and I don’t have brown or white wires. I have brown and white and white and orange. I tried with brown to brown white and white to white orange no joy. Anyone else have this setup and get it to work?

David Pete says:

Can you explain in detail for the hard wire splice in. I can see green goes to green yellows goes yellow but other white goes white and brown goes too? also can we wire the reverse light to 7 pin connector?

adam wichlacz says:

What is the wiring diagram in the OPT7, factory 4x pin wiring harness (the one going to the LED bar). My connection corroded to dust due to the salt here. I see red, green, blue & black when I cut it?? I need to splice it to another 4x pin connection, then hardwire it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Js Outdoorz says:

How do you remove the spare tire without damage to light bar

bubbajeph says:

Do you have this available for the Honda CANBUS connector? Like to see this on a 2017 series Ridgeline.

Our Thing says:

How do you attach the light bar? There’s a plastic piece between the bumper and tailgate that doesn’t let me attach anything there..
