Once you get the fuel pump installed, cycle the key several times and then
start cranking the vehicle. The vehicle should start relatively quick
(within 10-15 seconds.) If it does not, stop cranking & repeat the steps.
There is no need to purge the air from the system with a screwdriver. The
air will naturally purge from the system during the initial cycling &
starting on it’s own. Hope this helps. Thanks.
Question: Once fuel lift pump is installed all you have to do is bump the
starter to prime the fuel system to get all the air out? I saw another
video where they bump the starter and put a small screw driver into the
second valve on the fuel injector pump to purge air out of the system. Is
this an unnecessary step since it was not presented in your video? Thanks

the air tex pumps are kinda junk i seen one out of 6 work right!!!
