Agree with bcgrittner…. On the Journey, the reverse lamps are situated in the tailgate. So the camera can be mounted in the usual place (rear licence plate in the tailgate) which is a simpler connection. Good effort though.
Great video Fix it Kurt! Want to check with you how this setup is holding up? Is the wireless transmitter still good till now? Im torned between doing wireless or wired backup camera still on research on which route to take for my vehicle. Thanks!
first of all many years later.. no on the bumper mount, no on the camera always on, no on the connecting it to harnesses, no on the placement

Easier power hookup to the camera would have been to the back-up light wiring in behind one of the taillight assemblies.
it would have been a whole lot nicer if you would have showed which wires went where before clipping it all together
