In this video, I diagnose a rough idle/shaking that is coming from the Dodge engine bay. We purchased the truck less than a week before and had yet to do any basic maintenance on it.
So in this video, I will go through a number of things that I typically do in a situation where an old vehicle I recently purchased has a rough idle. I clean the cold air intake, clean the throttle body, and clean the ICV. This vehicle did not have a mass air flow sensor, but I typically clean that as well when I purchase a new vehicle.
Did this fix your issue
Cheapest cold air intake I think I've ever witnessed! lol
That is a5.7 not a 5.9 sorry its a habit
the O2 sensors are notorious on these…rough idle or sometimes stalling and then running good when you floor it…no check engine light….replace them when you do a tune up..
Mine and my wife has one too I think it's Chryslers oem part
Its got a holly throttle body. Nice
