thanks I have the same truck same year same engine.the shop I took me truck
to charged me 75 bucks to do with with my belt next time ill do it myself
the like to rip us all off.
don’t need to loosen the bolt on the pulley tensioner, plus you can just
use the head of any 3/4 socket drive and crank that thing to the right as
the pulley tensioner arm acts like a fulcrum for leverage. like your vids
though, good work :)
Great video. You can also loosen the tensioner without lossening that bolt.
Just stick a 3/8 wratched into the receptical out toward the pulley and
rotate counter clock wise. Either way.

Can I do the same on my 2001 dodge ram 1500?
Thank you. You saved me 60 dollars and I did I it in 15 min. I have a 2002
4.7 slightly different but aside from that Thank You.
I’m about 95% sure it’s the same on the 2001.
Thank you for the video. It is exactly the same for a 2002 Doge Ram w/ a
v-6 too.
