Thank you for the video. I was in a rough spot when the belt slipped off
and I was on a trip and this really helped!!
The 1st “thing” is tension pulley. 15mm wrench, but space is tight tension
is strong, something longer to have leverage to pull the tensioner down a
hook can be used to bring the belt up near the pulley. Rather than try to
wedge the belt around the 1st pulley as shown, easier to place the belt on
the tensioner, pull down on the tensioner, and then squeeze the belt
(under) the next pulley in front of the tension pulley. You can find new
belts on Ebay for $10 shipping included. .
Is it me or was this whole video pretty much a foreign guy telling me that
I had to put that thing on that thing? First time I saw a how to video
about putting a belt on a vehicle and he never turned off the engine or
….actually he really didn’t do anything did he ?
At least he is trying to help .. What the fuck are you doing besides
fingering away your keyboard? THANKS FOR THE VIDEO MAN! GREAT HELP!!
all i heard was thing, the thing, all of those things have the same name
“thing”
I need to see how to get the belt back on , but I appreciate the info
So, how do I replace the thingy, if it’s broken?
Ya’ll should check his Ttansmission rebuild videos, spot on.
wow thanks for doing it instead of pointing the camera and say thing a
million time ! >:/

Dumb ……….cacaphoo
Dumb ……….cacaphoo no help
haha, ok wow. very specific!
lol not helpful at all.
my belt keeps coming out
Like uhhh…uhhh….uhhhh
I got a COMODO Secure DNS warning on your website link.
I understand the universe now!
your retarted!!! you put uhh…. uhh… uhh… a tool there and push it….
uhh… yeah that didnt help at all!
This is helpful, but I suggest putting the belts on all the pulleys EXCEPT
the IDLER pulley. It’s the one behind and below the A/C compressor pulley.
Then move the tensioner down with the tool and slip the belt below the
idler pulley where the diagram shows it should go. Just be sure the belt
doesn’t slip off any other pulley (such as the A/C pulley) before releasing
the tensioner.
Good tip.
one question… so i can put the belt there but not there right. but where
is there??? is there, here? or where?
Best video ever
I got 3.8 L Haha, love the accent 🙂
wow he could have used some directional terms tension pulley wrench
alternator
great job love simplicity
over there in that thing how should i say that thing with a tube 🙂
That’s all I needed to know, put the belt on alternator last, thanks
