How do you gap your plugs? Also, what did you use to wipre your mass
airflow sensor clean after you sprayed it? or did you just spray it?

Moe Mistry says:

Thanks Miles…just changed plugs and cleaned TB thanks to your great
video.

Andy DiMambro says:

I just changed my plugs for the first time in my 2006 ram 5.7 Hemi 88,000
mile. I was afraid of doing the job myself (I had abdominal surgery a few
months ago). I watch a lot of these videos, they were extremely helpful
with making the decision to do the job myself to save the ridiculous price
they charge to do this job. I will share one thing that I did that I
haven’t seen anyone talk about, I remove the front tires and dropped the
front end down onto 2 2″x4″ under the lower ball joints. I didn’t have to
crawl over the engine except for the drivers rear plug. It helped me a lot
and I got to inspect the front end while I was there. Taking my time it
took 3 hours and I cleaned the throttle body. Thanks everyone hope everyone
has good luck with doing there own work.

What brand intake is that? I have a 2005 ram 1500 and am looking for a cai
(Cold Air Intake) also I love your Car vids just watched the speaker one,
you are very informative and detailed which is good

Anthony De Vita says:

thanks I want to get one that’s like yours so i can keep the HEMI “badge”
on it. are you planning on doing any more videos of your truck?

deadmemory1986 says:

MrTincap, great video sir! I finally picked up an ’03 ram 1500 w 98k mi on
it and it’s in great shape. Took me long enough to own one but now I do.
Thanks for this awesome video, keep it up, drive safe.

graveplott47 says:

how can i get better MPG for my 4.7 dodge durango

Miles S. says:

I since have changed that. I wanted to keep the hemi badge too, but some
one told me that the Hemi”hat” does restrict airflow. I went online and
bought just the pipe for about $40 or so and it did make a difference in my
mileage and acceleration. The solid pipe is the way to go.

Wow! Thanks so much for making this video!!

TheAradford says:

i have a 03 single cab with the hemi, royal blue and silver, did you put
the front leveling kit on this truck and what size wheel n tire i have 33’s
on stock wheel and suspension, and thanks for the vid helped me out in
doing this and not going to the dealer for a 700$ tune up

Miles S. says:

Maybe a few things to help your mileage. Depending on what mileage you have
on the truck…Start with a K&N air filter, helps a little, Go to the auto
part store and get some CRC Mass Air Sensor Cleaner and some CRC Throttle
body cleaner. If you clean these two items that could help. I also
Seafoamed my engine (look on youtube at people doing that)..thats all I can
think of off the top of my head, except ofcoarse new plugs.

Miles S. says:

It’s just a cheap one. I went on ebay and typed “Dodge ram hemi cold air
intake” A bumnch will come up. I wanted a K&N but figured this will do for
now. Thanks for the comment. I just figured, those of us who aren’t afraid
to get out hands dirty…it’s not that hard.

Martin Zuanich says:

Thank you so much for the video I was a little confused on how to do it.
