This was my first youtube video ever, Im in the process of recording it
with a better camera. This process usually only takes 5 minutes but I was
nervous and stumbling around, so I promise the new video will be much
better. I will be completely rebuilding the dodge jtec I will be teaching
you how to repair everything that fails on them. Next ill be rebuilding
the Ford 7.3L diesel Injector driver module. Also watch for my how to
videos for making your own off board programming equipment to reprogram
automotive computers on the bench and how to hack into them to get them to
do all kinds of fun stuff.Hope you like the videos please dont forget to
like them and subscribe to my channel. Watch for at least one new video
every week.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL THE VIEWS!! This weekend we are putting up 3
more videos 2 for the dodge jtec and we are starting the series on ford
diesel injector drivers testing , repairing , programming and performance
upgrades. We bought a better camera so you will be able to see a little
better. We will be teaching you how to build your own offboard programming
adapter and how to hack into the ford, dodge, and gm computers. Please
remember to like and subscribe to our channel that is the only way we are
gonna keep this going. If you have a computer you would like to see rebuilt
please let us know and we will make a video for you.

how you know which driver is for coil which for incectors and etc?

Steve Nagy says:

How did you test the PCM to determine what needed to be replaced? I have a
2002 Dodge Ram Van 1500 5.2L that has a “no bus”. Cranks only, not
running. Sometimes the ASD relay clicks and sometimes not. No coil signal
or fuel injectors. I did get one code using the key on/off 3 times P code
to replace the CSK sensor. I replaced both the crank and cam sensors to no
help. It is very frustrating to find the root cause of the problem.
Thanks for the video! It’s the first one that I saw with someone actually
tearing down a PCM and it is the same as my vehicle. I would appreciate
any tips and videos that you offer. I am sure that there are many Dodge
owners that appreciate your help and guidance.
Thank you!

when removing transistors from a module like this that act as a heat sink,
the body of the module is taking heat away from the component you are
trying to unsolder,
a technique I use is put the module on a radiator to heat it up, I normally
try to get it up to around 100 deg C
The module is well able to take this temp. as during the manufacturing
process, during the soldering process, the temp does be around
215 deg C
I then use my soldering iron to remove the component
good video keep up the good work

Bob No says:

No thank you like you have no idea! I have a 96 Chrysler Town and Country
3.3 reman PCM part 04834648. 2 coil drivers are open and one is shorted.
Got a new reman and installed it and right off the bat one coil driver is
open I am almost positive it was dead on arrival. Im not looking foward to
speaking to the online retailer. Im sure they will want to blame me. Any
advice? Im already in the process of cutting away the silicone stuff to
view the drivers under the metal heat sink. I believe the previous repair
to my original reman included the e prom u mentioned in this video. They
cut out the original silicone and replaced something that looks like an e
prom probably would if i had to guess. Also they exposed two T20 Torx
screws toward the 2 connectors side. I imagine maybe the whole board can be
removed in that way? I would really really appreciate any help you would be
willing to offer thank you so much!!! Not too many ECM PCM repair videos or
info out there for us
