I have a 2006 Durango with the stereo/navi all-in-one also with steering
wheel controls. I’m told there are several things I need to swap-out this
radio. 1. a special harness for the steering wheel controls and some other
adapter because the factory stereo is connected with the car’s computer.
Any tips here? My only issue with stock is that this year, they didn’t have
bluetooth (and) the navi is with a DVD. For the price of the new DVD disk
to update and some $200 bluetooth adapter, I might as well put a touch
screen stereo in it with bluetooth already in the radio. Thoughts?
i was told that some dodge durangos have an amp inside tht if stock radio
is removed it will not work unless u connect an adapter tht costs 140
bucks. do u know what year carries these amps. i have a 2008
Thank you

Purchase the aftermarket Kit, Wire Harness and Antenna Adaptor. Make it an
easy job, not a tuff one!
