i have a 2002 dodge grand caravan sport and the button on the outside and inside dont work idk if you know how to repair/fix it but it would be helpful
I have a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan SE. The torx ball join bolt is not removable from the old hydraulic lift support. I took the part to the dealer and they told me this. So instead of the NAPA part here, buy from Advance Auto part# 4535 (SKU 43645 71016), about $22 each. They come with the torx-ball joint already attached. All you need to do is screw out the old ones and screw in the new.
I have no idea why you would want to put Locktite on the bolt as shown. It is not a critical part and shouldn’t come loose under normal circumstances.
It looks like this happens to a lot of people in Ct. I have a 06 same prob and my company had 800 07 Caravan many with same issue. THe body shop said grease it but It sounded like metal scraping medal. Thank a lot to James Gandofini stand in Guy !
If I recall it is a torx style bolt. I recall the exact socket size but I had it in my torx set. You can get a torx set of sockets at harbor freight for $10 and these days its a but as I’m sure you will use them for other stuff.

Thanks so much! We have a 2007 GC we call “Betty Blue” and it needs some TLC. This is now one thing we can do ourselves! Thanks!

Great video! Mine sticks, too! What type(size) of socket do you use?
