I have a 09 ram 2500 2wd , and I only wanna lift the front of the truck , is it ok or not ?

I thought of using old men emu suspension and coil springs in the front

MrDragons14 says:

Ur pretty much stupid to say thats a suspension lift cause its not its a leveling kit which a leveling kit is nothing like a lift kit fucking ediot

85Prospector says:

which lift kit is this? can only find leveling kits so far online.

Rolando Lagunas says:

Were did u get those lift kits? I need some for my 66 chevelle rear springs???

MuddyCowboy91 says:

I did this setup on my ’08 2500.. I like how you did the rear i followed the instructions an ended up wasting time lol.

crc88colt says:

Were do you buy this kit……!!! NEED HELP

TrendyKidzProduction says:

little bit of lock tite HAHA yea ok.

Pawel Szala says:

Hi, can you tell me were i can buy this kit and if this will work on 2002 dodge 4WD 1500?
Thnks

ltr06rider says:

See below I wrote reply to video instead of response

ltr06rider says:

Thats my problem can’t find anything that is aimed for HD application. What’s the dia. of your springs? And thickness? I don’t want to break want the spring compressors breaking and have a problem. I think mine are rated 1000-1200# per inch of comp

roadragecustoms says:

It MIGHT, but I’d be surprised if the tool was big enough to fit the Dodge 2500 spring.

ltr06rider says:

Will these spring compressors work on my 2011 2500HD front coil springs to install level?

UBBERTANKER says:

what leaf springs?

dasllamas says:

09-current ram 1500 do not have leaf springs.

MROLDSTUFFF says:

wouldn’t you have to do something with the leaf springs

macaibhistin says:

Great and helpful video. I am thinking about purchasing a 1 inch set of spacers for the front of my ’09 Ram. Since I got the overload springs installed in the rear my back end is a bit high. I wouldn’t mind having the front higher anyway. Do you think an alignment is necessary for just a 1 inch lift? Thanks.

Josiah Shaw says:

The front spacers are fine! If you just want to lift it I’d recommend getting an aluminum alloy spacer kit! I own a 2001 v8 tundra, I had front Fabtech 2.5 dirt logic coil overs–you wont get coil over performance, but you’ll get the same stock strut off road results with a lifted look. If your looking for performance, you should get a premium lift kit! I had an 04 Isuzu Rodeo SUV–Calmini 3″ lift rear coils and 3″ torsion adjustment with new Explorer shocks–do your alignment when finished!

HillbillyWhisperer says:

It’s not a suspension lift. These spacers will wear out the ball joints and other parts faster. It will still fuck up your tires even with wheel alignment. Not worth it.

TRUSSTRUCKER says:

Nice video

RoadTripMan4U says:

Good video!

pfleeger2010 says:

Ok, thanks for the help.

roadragecustoms says:

You need a flip kit. It relocates the axle to the bottom, lifting the rear. Check to see if longer shocks or shock extensions are available with lifted torsion keys for the front. That will get the front a little higher. Otherwise you may have to settle for a body lift if you are trying to save a buck.

pfleeger2010 says:

I was wrong, the axle is on top of the springs, what can I do now?

roadragecustoms says:

If the springs are on top of the axle, you can put lift blocks between the axle & springs then install longer shocks to lift the rear. You will also need longer U-bolts.

pfleeger2010 says:

Springs on top of the axle, I believe.

roadragecustoms says:

Torsion bars have a slight ride height adjustment. Over-adjusting can lead to stiff ride & / or broken shocks. Are your leaf springs on top of the axle or is the axle on top of the springs?

pfleeger2010 says:

It is the 4×4, I guess I should have mentioned that, and it does have the torsion bars, but I was always told that they were struts. What about the rear end, what’s an easy way to lift the back axle?

roadragecustoms says:

A 1996 S10 should have coil springs & shocks for a 4×2, and torsion bars & shocks for a 4×4.

pfleeger2010 says:

It has struts in the front and leaf springs in the back.

roadragecustoms says:

Your S10 doesn’t have struts in the front or coil springs in the rear. I don’t think there is a quick kit like this for yours.

pfleeger2010 says:

Wow, that was easy. I’m thinking on doing that with my ’96 S10, any suggestions.

mcorving says:

ahhh okay, thanks for the quick response. any idea if its as easy on an older generation? (i’m in the process of buying an 03)
