Just a quick video showing how I replaced the Right Rear Power Window Regulator on a 2004 Dodge Dakota. This is the same for years 2000, 2001, 2002, & 2003. It is also very similar for a Dodge Durango years 1998-2003. The door panel removal would be slightly different on the Durango, but the Part number is the same.

Tools needed:
Phillips Screwdriver
10mm socket and ratchet with extension
8mm socket and ratchet

I also used silicone spray to clean and lubricate the window channel.

Thanks for watching!

Dude thank you for this video. I got the part and fixed it myself in less than 30 minutes. Your instructions were great for someone who is automotive-repair challenged like myself.

Thanks for taking the time to make and upload your video. As for Dodge Dakota window regulators, no matter what brand you buy they are made to break. Where both ends of the cables meet and attach to is a nylon plastic part, which should raise an eyebrow immediately. The cables create such force that it doesn't take much time for at least one side of the plastic to break. The plastic part should've been made out of, at least, aluminum or brass. At first I thought whoever designed the regulator lacked common sense. Instead, its obvious that these companies use plastic at the most stressful points knowing that the plastic will break. Why would a parts company do that? Revenue. I'm sure these companies have all heard the complaints but integrity is a missing virtue in today's society and culture. Now, if only a company would offer metal replacement parts and/or kits, us customers could save money by buying a kit we'd have confidence in. I have a brand new regulator for my wife's '03 Dakota Quadcab but before I install it I have to find a reasonable machinist or I replicate that plastic nemesis myself.
