so I would recommend you look up the one for your exact vehicle. RockAuto

I have a 2005 2500 ram, same problem, my quick disconnect needed a special
tool, I took a 6″ x 2″ piece of sheet metal and pounded one end around a
1/2 socket with a rubber mallet to round it and it easily took place of the
special tool to release the quick disconnect, nice video
