Changed the heater core on my 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan for the first time. Took me about 2 hours and wasn’t that difficult. Sorry that the lighting is terrible and that I’m a terrible videographer…

I just completed this procedure on my 2002 Chrysler Voyager. It would have
been nice to have a garage (Its pretty cold in my driveway – about 20
degrees in NJ) – your instruction and video was a huge help! Thank you for
taking the time and effort to video and post. My mechanic – who is great,
wanted $650 for the repair, I spent $120 on the new core and $20 on a new
torx set for my 1/4 ratchet from Walmart. (just in case). I also bought new
anti freeze and a bottle radiator flush . Thanks again !
Im going to attempt this tomorrow, I have a 2001 and both heater cores are
bypassed, i can see the front was leaking. Do you have instructions for the
rear heater core?
Thank you very much for posting this procedure. With the information you
provided it gave me what I needed to make the job go very smooth. Thanks!
Did you find out what the problem was? My mom has the same van, and her’s
starts to steam up from the dashboard vents and smells like antifreeze or
maple syrup
Good job with the video. Thanks!
Do u think it would be about the same process for a 2004 dodge caravan?
Could you please elaborate as to what you did to replace the motor for the
air recirculation door. ..I am experiencing the same defrosting problems
and I hear a hissing sound coming from time to time coming from the
passenger side dash. I suspected a sticking door. Thanks for any help
Thanks a lot man , my heater core on my chrysler voyager 2002 is leaking
and the carpet on the driver side is soaked with green antifreeze and never
found a video to help me out on replacing my heater core , that’s why I
don’t have any heat ….. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work
