You’re welcome. Glad it helped. I’m not sure what to tell you about the
power problems at high altitudes. 🙁 The oxygen sensor could be located a
couple different places. I’ll try to shoot a video of the places where I’ve
seen it installed. I’ve replaced mine and it’s not a hard to do. By the
way, if you have the chance, check out some of my other videos, ads
on the videos, and consider subscribing. It helps me continue to make more
videos and helps pay the bills. Thanks again! 🙂

nice, this video helped a lot, ( along with the repair manual). I replaced
the water pump on my 88 Dakota yesterday. I too have chopped the smog pump
belt. runs like a champ. I do have some power problems in high altitude
mountain driving tho. i have to power up from 3rd to 4th gear. then lose
power and shift back down to 3rd. My friend suggested to check the oxygen
sensor, but havent had time to find it. if you have any suggestions id dont
mind some advice.

That’s why I mention at the beginning that this job is only for those who
are mechanically inclined. If you’re mechanically inclined you wouldn’t
need to see the brackets you just need to be aware that they’re in a
particular area. Also, there isn’t room for me to get my camera into that
tight of a space unless I remove the whole front end of the vehicle and
there was no time for that type of work. The first time I did this job I
had no video or instructions. At least now there’s a video. 🙂

It would have been more instructive had you switched the camera to show the
brackets on the driver’s side, it would have saved a lot of guessing as to
what you were talking about.
