Thank you! Thank you. Thank you! One day I woke up and my car would crank but not start. I was at my wit's end. I had it towed to the local shop where they couldn't diagnose it for a week. I had no warning lights, everything came on, it just would not crank. I researched the issue along with my model, 2013 Chrysler Town and Country, and I kept seeing the same problem that Chrysler refuses to acknowledge…the hinky TIPM and the often failing fuel pump relay and overall lack of reliability of the TIPM. The mechanic eventually said I needed a new fuel pump even though you could hear it come on when the car was turned on and a $694 fuel pump repair. I politely had my car towed to the dealership and they got in and the vile betrayer that is my car started and he drove it around saying that it seemed fine. I came back the next day and it was still fine but they said if I wanted to pay them to diagnose it they would but sometimes it's just one of those things you hysterical woman you. I was at my wit's end, drove it home where it promptly stopped cranking again. I ordered your simple cable, installed it(I am not technically inclined but the instructions were so clear a 10-year-old could do it), and drove around the block….came back home…10 minutes later drove to the grocery store…then back home…parked it came in and went back out to….you see where I am going. A $25 cord saved the day until I can either get a new TIPM or I give up on this car. Thank you!

Simon Rodgers says:

Hi Jason. I have a 2011 Ram and I am tracking down a drivers door lock issue. Do you have any knowledge of how that particular system works? Far as I can tell there is an Unlock relay that is part of the TIPM, a fuse and the door switch itself. I'm fairly sure the issue is with the relay in the TIPM.

Ben Harrell says:

Great vid and saved me over $600. Garage said it was a fuel filter and wanted over $600 to replace. I brought a piece of wire to garage and did a quick bypass and my 2011 Ram cranked with no problems. Going to buy your wire now.

Kira M says:

I tried today and It worked. OMG I just saved alot of money by just buying a cable. have to say that on the intermitent relay stuck, I brought the car to the mecanic and they did a 600$ tune up, they managed to turn it on and stabilize it but, you see where we going?? spending and spending because we didn't see this video before. God bless you man !

Alan Hendrickson says:

Does this work if they have done the recall? who ever did our relay job did a really crappy job and it seems like the solder connection connects and disconnects speratically. Would bypassing it like you show fix this issue?

TEX FIX cell phone Repair Wylie says:

does this issue apply to jeep commander? i dont see the commander in the list of affected vehicles, but it was built 2006-2010. thanks!

Marky Mark 24/7 says:

Any chance you have a bypass for the fan? Not sure exactly what, how, and where, but I've been reading a lot of forums on 2012 5.7 hemis overheating, and this video popped up for fan bypass, but would be a good use if the externally mounted fuel relay that the dealer put in once before cuts out. I received a recall notice but i just put a new block in and the dealer is the last person I want touching it honestly, but temps getting up to 223⁰ before really hearing the fan kick on is a bit terrifying for a brand new engine. Perfectly fine driving around until it gets hot and your stopped at a light for a minute

Charles Passenier says:

Fuel pump was still running when my 2011 Ram 1500 was shut off. This fixed the problem, however my remote start doesn't work now. Not sure if it's related to this or not.

Big Dummy says:

Do you have a fix for LIMP MODE on a PT Cruiser? Solenoids been changed, PCM changed and now found that the gearbox relay is sending the wrong info to the g/box, causing the L/M!!!

Rightcatch Laidback says:

Where do I find the diagram for a 2008 Dodge avenger fuel pump relay location?

Ken Russell says:

Is it common to most people with this fuel pump relay problem, for it to only do it when the truck has sat for several hours? Mine only has trouble starting after sitting thru a work shift or overnight. Once it starts and runs a bit it always re-starts fine, stopping to get fuel or food. just curious
