at 3:55 I see the wheel, I can’t stress enough! Please don’t do that! when
you take that wheel off, please slide it somewhere under the car!, and even
if you are using jack stands! because at least if that wheel is under the
oil pan, trans pan, front of the frame, somewhere if the car would happen
to fall, it has that to at least fall on other then you! and also on this
your working in a gravel dirt lot, like my bro was, he was using jack
stands, and even trusting a jack is never safe! but his stands was sinking
into the ground he didn’t notice, and he was doing something similar where
he was under the car pulling hard, with that breaker bar, you can easily
rock the car off the jack or stands! it happened to him and cost him his
life! ironic is was a Sebring he was working on too. you made a great vid.
and for the most I just want to share this with you cause it could save a
life out there, if that wheel is somewhere under the car. never trust jacks
or stands, when wheels are removed put something else solid under there!

Gord Briffa says:

you gotta hate when your doing work at home and think the job is going to
be easy then you run into seized bolts, don’t have the proper tools, then
your stuck , its nice doing it at the shop

ShawnCFarm says:

I know of him, but hes like almost 4 hours away to his shop. i might make
it there this summer

umajunkcollector says:

Shawn, as a mechanic, does it happen often that a job may be like a two
hour job, but it actually takes like three or four hours to get it done,
and the custoimer is none the wiser, and only pays for the two hours labor?
I took our VW Cabrio to the shop (um too old and it’s cold out there,
umawoose) for timing belt, water pump, etc, and he is talking like three
hours labor. That sounds fair considering coffee breaks, phone calls,
lunch, and shitter time, etc heh heh heh.

crispyspa says:

Roy French says:

Chrysler junk! A little bit cheaper when you first buy them, but you really
pay down the road. I know I’ll never buy another one. My wife works at the
Dodge dealer and has lots of horror stories like this one.

Gotta fix the cars balls, aye? It gelded! What do you call a truck with
king pins? a steer (castrated, no balls)!

ShawnCFarm says:

Yes it happens time to time. You get one of theses jobs that things go
wrong and you can’t help.

welderboy525 says:

Thinking of you this morning the hydraulics on my plow quit so I was going
to hook a winch up like you did but instead I welded a tab onto the bottom
of a bottle jack and the same on the top and put in wear the piston goes
but no sooner than I finished this I found a broken Lin in the plows plug

ShawnCFarm says:

You got to be ready at all times when riding lol

ShawnCFarm says:

On most cars you can, but a few you have to replace the a-arm
