Hi there… In my understanding there was transmission fluid leaking… Am I right? If so, when you removed the hoses, how much fluid was lost? and after replacement of the hose, do you need to refile the transmission fluid?
Thank you
Ok but what actually seals the line? Is there any reason you can’t unscrew the whole fitting?

Wait till you are under the Trailblazer with your hand out of sight trying to squint down from the tailshaft to see what's up. Unscrew the fitting is my advice.
