I thought you remove the negative first and then the positive, and when you
put it back you put the positive first followed by the negative. Because
you don’t need the negative by itself…
Ihab, you can keep the car on while replacing the battrey.. this will let
you know if the (dinamo if i wrote it correct) is good or bad.. i good
dinamo should keep the car working even if you disconnect the battary.. if
the car turns off by removing the battary then their is another problem
which killed the battary..
However if you want to replace the battary while the car is off then you
need to keep power in the car system.. removing battary will disconnect the
power to the system.. in newer cars, if the power is lost fron the system.
Then the system will shut down and the coding resets which will require an
expert to solve the problem and unlock the car. Inorder to avoid this then
you need to provide power to the car from third battary.. you can use
12volts/25ah power or higher and connect the clamps to the cables coming
from the car. This way the car will still have full power while replacing
the battary.
Another easier method is to connect a battary from the inside.. there is a
power plug/hole near the drivers seat.. some where around the gear/shift.
Simply modfi a battary with an output that fits in the hole and plug it in
while replacing the main battary..
