Replacing valve springs on gen 3 hemi how-to video
How to remove valve spring :
Step 1 – apply the valve spring compressor tool to the valve spring
Step 2- compress valve spring to expose keepers Step 3 – remove keepers(you can use a magnet to extract keeper)
Step 4 – release compressor tool
Step 5-remove retainer
Step 6- Remove the valve spring
Step 7-remove shim
How to install :
Step 1- install shim
Step 2- install valve spring
Step 3- install retainer
Step 4- apply the valve spring compressor tool to the valve and compress the valve spring
Step 5- install keepers with tapered side down
Step 6- release valve spring tool
