lol your left fog light looks just like mine, cracked in the sameee spot
GR* videos! YES! THE OEM FOGS DO SUCK!! LOL!!
@theodor33e splash guard…. these cars do not have splash guards. You can
buy them from chrysler as an add on but not stock. do you mean wheel wells
or did you buy them after the fact. Do you still have them or fall off
completely. You should be able to drill them back to the car. check the
mopar accessories website and they have an instruction manual for the
splash guards.
ACTUALY NO THE SPLASH GUARD , I NOTICE THAT THERE SECURED TO THE BUMPER
WITH A PLASTIC RIVET .
is there any way to replace the fog lights without taking the bumper off
my splash guard fell off.. how can i get mine back on??
@FONSITO33 do you mean inside the wheel well area? the black part that
connects to the bumper, those are little plastic things that I have no idea
what they are called. I just know that when I go to autozone or advanced
auto, they have a rack of them for all sorts of different car makers.
Basically you stick it in like a nail and when you push the center portion
in, it causes the back side (which is in the bumper) to expand so they will
not come out. They are like 3 bucks for a pack of 10.
@TERNI2000 google “startech kevin fleet” and click on the Facebook for him.
he is the black guy who went to Scotland High. He is the only US importer.
Beast!!
@blaxican916 … indeed I have. This was due to a ball ballast. Now the
question for you is do you have stock halogen bulbs? OEM HIDs? or
aftermarket HIDs? halogen bulbs shouldn’t flicker and if they do, you have
a wiring problem and a short. the HIDs will flicker if the ballasts go. The
OEMs shouldn’t flicker but overtime ballasts go. Aftermarket will flicker
because they drawn less power so your car thinks a bulb is out and tries to
shut it off and screws with the ballast. Install capacitors.
@vinnnnnnnnyyyyyyyy I’ve actually seen a few other 300s with similar
cracks. I personally think the plastic was not the correct type of plastic
for a light so close to the ground. The fog lights I have now are a thicker
glass. Not sure if glass is any better….
it looks good better then the oem
Thanks Bro
You could attempt to go in from underneath by taking the underbody plate
off or whatever that thing is called. But unless you’re on a lift…. I
don’t see how you’ll be able to really get in there. If you wanted to do
something, I would recommend you remove the fasteners in the wheel well and
the screws under the bumper and you can attempt to lift it from the bottom
carefully. But in all truth, the only safe way is to remove the bumper. I
know it seems like a pain but its the nature of the beast
Nothing like stock factory equipment. Poor bumper is butchered!!! not worth
the trouble. Sorry guy I know u try your best.
I know this is a different subject matter but where can I find info to
change dodge charger fog lights.
Where can I find those bumper lights ? They’re hot !!
@DSNYSANMAN agreed. the drivers side is already out. i’m going back to
stock soon. they will be the stock housings but totally custom on the
inside.
I am just gonna take it to firestone lol
@300howto
my factory fogs are cracked, think due to the heat…also they stopped
working as well….
Have you ever experienced a problem where your headlights are just
flickering off and on at random?
WHAT KIND OF RIVET GUN DO YOU USE AND WERE CAN I GET ONE ?
Improv!!!!
@TheChemist187 enough times to honestly be considering the use of
velcro…..
@300howto Yeah, but on my 300 my seat belt chime never goes off, it doesnt
show that its connected… and its getting no power.. any ideas? can you
please help me out.. even though i got subs, sometimes i dont wanna bump
and i cant stand hearing that noise..
Very nice mods to the 300C … you’re giving me ideas 🙂 Great vid.
bag says advanced auto parts, lol looked to see what it was and still got
it wrong xD great vid tho!
@FONSITO33 I didnt actually use a rivet gun. do you mean how did i secure
the bumper to the car? if so you can get spare plugs at Advanced Auto or a
local auto parts store.
@300howto Thanks for your reply,i prolly am never gonna take off the bumper
its too much for me and my car is only 5days old but thanks for your vids
they are the most helpful for 300’s/charger’s on youtube
google “charger forum” and the top 5 results are good places. If you search
within the forum, you should find it. It is almost the same as the 300.
Take the front bumper off and you are good to go.
what is the name of those fogs. I looked and acn’t find those.
Like it Bro
Lol…u keep changing our initial plan for installing the lights lol.
@300howto I have never converted anything in the lighting system, but I
have put the Silver Star light bulbs in. And my issue is not so much of a
flicker as it is the headlights will just go off and come back randomly,
sometimes for a split second and sometimes they are off for a few seconds
at a time. It really frustrates me that Chrysler can’t diagnose this
because naturally they can’t make it happen even when they have had the car
all day.
@weldhawk1 I’m changing mine this weekend with regular blue fog lights to
match my HID bulbs.
Damn I seen all your vids man. How many times you removed front bumper? lol
