Boat Project 06 – How to Replace IMPELLER on Chrysler Force Outboard 85

Here is how to take off the lower unit and swap out the impeller on a Chrysler Force 85 Outboard motor.
So I think I figured out why water wasn’t flowing. The water level wasn’t high enough in my container the motor was sitting in, these style of water pumps don’t self prime so I need a higher level of water and then hopefully it should be fine.

Good day. I live in Ukraine. I got a Chrysler outboard 75 hp engine as a gift, but without a gearbox. I can't find a reducer in Ukraine. I really want to repair it and drive the soybean family. If anyone can help me I will be grateful. My email address is maloysheva@ukr.net

I Just replaced my impeller and I am having trouble re-attaching the gear case to the motor. The drive shaft does not seem to want to go all of the way in. I tried rotating the flywheel and the driveshaft, but no luck. Any Tips?

I've got the same outboard, and I'm about to do that to my boat. Thanks for the video!

Of course it's supposed to be off center that's what pumps the water that's the main purpose of it that's what builds the water pressure that off center hole
