you may need to evacuate and recharge the ac system If you want to make the job much easier..
long story short.. you can do it without messing with the AC it just takes a bit of patience and creativity

I installed and repaired radiators for 20 years and this ,by far, is the dumbest design I have ever seen! Absolutely NUTS!
