i had also change the battery on my sebring and that sucks but my sebring
has the 4cyl 2.4 l doct and he runs good
This guy is hilarious. I now realize I will not be removing my wife’s
battery on her ’02 Sebring for the upcoming winter. I loved the comment
about the guy looking for the cat. I looked over my shoulder for a cat and
we don’t even have one!
Maybe it sat too long in the car you know what these newer cars are like
for electronics theres alaways something in need of constant power. I have
to agree on buying things with cash instead of on loan My motto is if you
can’t afford it don’t buy it. my first car was a free car i drove that one
for 2 years. my second car cost me £250 I drove it for a year then the
engine went bad. So i bought the one have now for £380. Then i put a second
hand engine in the other car and sold it for £350.
They Put it There Cuz They Don’t Know How to Built Cars yet
oh and the liscencing and insurance is more expensive plus i cant put a
permanent license on it for another 2 years
Walmart denied me. They wont let the employees replace the battery of a
sebring lxi.
thanks ha ha tell me about it
remember, mitsushitty built the HA-GO light tank too
And people wonder why Chrysler was going bankrupt…
ok i can definitely see your point now… you see I do all the work myself
and absolutely 1200 for a regularily driven pickup is really quite
reasonable plus you are absolutely correct about the depreciation… a
specific vehicle has a specific dollar value based on what is done with it
during the year and thats kind of how i come to my figures with my vehicles
Somebody should be shot for such lousy design.
5 tho naw il lbuy it for free lol pos i hate Chrysler
Great video. You should do more auto repair video’s, you have a real down
to earth way of talking us through. Thanks
not a bad car in my opinion, but that’s a really dumb location for the
battery
my sebring always makes car repair a bit more fun then it should be :/
changing a battery in any other car would take less then 5-10mins
oh you mean the 86 with the 6.9L diesel… you sure wouldnt go wrong with
one of those… its charlies pickup that has the 351 in it, he bought that
thing for $50 smokes a little but other than that its great
I cant argue for sure that paint scheme is kinda fugly
my dad liked plymouths and dodge products, mainly because the chevy dealer
was a prick
huh youve got to be kidding
if you were to bump something, you would mess up the battery.
this why i stick to ford trucks
wow you just mirrored most of my complaints about my sebring and I never
mentioned a single one besides the battery in the video… you forgot
however that they are cheaply made, fall apart, dont get that great gas
mileage and are extremely uncomfortable on long trips… dodge has not made
a decent car since about 1970 in my opinion
wtf how do jump start it if battery dies, u gota take car apart, piece of
shit car
right about $4000 which is too much in my eyes and plus its only one car
and I like variety… and cheap variety lol we like it
hey could you do a video on your ford ranger i have a 1996 ford ranger that
i will be doing a video of soon once i clean it up lol
I would agree whole heartedly… speaking of old iron Im uploading videos
as we speak of getting the old John Deere Model A running… and I agree
about the interstate batteries unless it comes to optimas… they
absolutely kick ass
Friggin sadistic engineers
Im sorry to hear youve had such bad luck with cheap vehicles I cant say I
have had the same with the exception of one or two my vehicles all have a
budget and if they exceed that prematurely they go down the road.. I can
say for a fact that minus the sebring I have not spent more than 16500 on
all the vehicles and their maintenance in the last 4 years (I actually just
checked my receipts so I could be sure I wasnt lying) and as a bonus I get
to drive alot of really fun vehicles instead of just 1
I wanted to see where you connected the jumper cables with the batteray
hiden down there but u never showed it the vid.
No, what I am saying is, I have had good luck with used vehicles. My budget
is 100 bucks a month. But I have to drive something new, or close to new,
to take to work every day. The project truck is running great, and I use it
for errands and weekends.
great video
This was very helpful. Replaced my battery today in 30 minutes. Screws at
top of access panel are the same size at battery terminal so tools needed
are minimal..Pliers and flat blade screwdriver for snaps, just pull the
center pin out first and snap comes out easily. Lug wrench and jack. Then a
socket for the battery clamp. Factory battery lasted from original car
purchase in spring of 2004 until last night, August 2011 so I guess the
location away from the heat really works. Thanks wagner
Damn thats a lot for repairs, the most I’ve spent on one vehicle is about
$1000 on my 96 monte carlo z34, and I’ve had it for 5 years now, plus it
still has the same tires and battery as when I bought it.
@anthonyv6612 How you gonna hate on a car when you obviously know
absolutely nothing about it? There is a fuse box at the top to jump start
it, dumbass.
Thanks… this is a big help… I’ll do this in the morning. Funny that the
manual said you don’t have to take the wheel off just turn it all the way
to right. No Way! The tire has to come off.
Not a bad car for only 13K.
i always thought the K cars were kind of nerdy looking, not as exciting as
a camero or a musteng
Great Video, guy. If it wasn’t for your video, I’d have believed the damned
manual. Well, I’m not up to doing it myself, so I’ll just have to call the
shop and see what it’s going to cost me at 2012 inflation prices. Someone
mentioned you should do more videos, dude. I’m with them; loved your down
to earth style.. BTW: I paid $7,800 for my used Sebring, with the finance
interest, and have spent another $8,000 dealing with its inherent problems.
Never again!
Can u show how u change da starter on Sebring
Thanks for posting this. . .
very cool I cant wait to see it
THANKS help a lot in changing, replacing my battery in my 2000 chrysler LHS
I was wondering do you have to reset it?
hey man i cant find sebring 0-60 but i found this vid., my moms got a 03
sebring and she asked me to charge her car one morning and i was like wtf,
you dont even have a battery, wtf did you do with it, i slammed the hood
and went back to bed, i told her not to buy that thing!!!!! lol
Thanks Wagner, I have an ’08 Sebring Convert. and really liked it but I too
need to change the battery and was shocked to find out where it is. The
manual claims to just turn the wheel all the way to the right—-WRONG. You
do have to take the wheel off. Haven’t done it yet, it’s jusst too cold but
your video helped a bunch.
I’ve got an exide battery in my car i’ve had the battery for three nearly
four years from new and it’s been in three cars and hasn’t failed yet.
touch wood lol
chrysler is connected to mitsushitty, no wonder they come up such stupid
ideas
