In a previous video we remove the radiator from this customers ’18 Chrysler 300 and found out the aftermarket radiator needs some mods to make it work like the OEM. Let’s get this baby back together and out the door!

All in all Eric, that radiator wasn't too bad to put in. At 50% of the time, Chinese-built stuff is off in specs because of English interpretation to Chinese and Metric to American measurements!
Flush cutter? You mean side dykes?
Yep, aftermarket radiators are junk. I've replaced the one in my 92 Cavalier probably 3 or 4 times since 2006 because they end up leaking. They also don't fit down on the rubber bracket on one side at the bottom.
I saw the sensor in the intake hose disconnected did you connect it
Is a clickety clack the metric unit conversion for an ugga dugga?
glue that part to the radiator using silicon and move on. that radiator bottom piece only needs to stay in place until you install it. a temporary hold.
I saw the signs for Nippletop and Dix Mountain when I was on 87 headed from Albany to Plattsburgh. There are some weird names there. I also never found out why Adirondack Chairs are so damn expensive.
Do you worry about Luna in the shop with open antifreeze?
Eric what brand is ur hose clamp pliers they look like they're vise grips pliers
I’d love your thoughts on aftermarket cats lol, every single one of them is absolute junk, they never ever ever fit correctly by a country mile, you can never put the heat shields back on, you end up having to heat and bend shit to get the flanges to line up correctly. And if you’re lucky it’ll make it a week before it comes back with a cat code lol. Our shop no longer offers aftermarket cats unless the dealer is not available, it simply isn’t worth the headache. Idk if it’s the tolerances or what but these newer cars just will not accept an aftermarket cat without throwing a code again
What do you think of Aluminum or Stainless Magnetic Oil Drain Plugs? Thanks
I bet you’d like to take a hammer to some of those aftermarket parts! Like the Brooks brass hammer and just demolish it! I’d give some money for a replacement for you!
Eric to quote you from a way older video; You didn't build it. You didn't buy it and you didn't break it. You just fix them and fix them well you do regardless what crap parts are provided.
I wonder how many other cars that radiator sort of fits but not really?
I wonder how many hours that job is.
It pretty much doesn't matter where or from whom you buy aftermarket rads, heater cores or condensers from nowdays, they never quite fit right outta the box. Like you, I've come to expect that, as crappy as that sounds. I try to get the 1s with as much supplied hardware as possible because in my experience, pretty much none of the OE stuff wants to play nice. I went through 3 rads on a '10 Aveo before I found 1 that got close enough to bolt in. As you said, tech support was a not so funny joke..Very good of you to put the customer on a payment plan. Try that at a dealer!
Love nipple mountain
Hi, my daughters and I would like to see more videos of your interaction with the shop cat. Please consider making some YouTube "shorts".
I hope the shop kitty stays away from the spilled coolant.
That was a great showing of how easy it is to replace a radiator. Thanks for showing us how to do it.
too late to play dumb now, you have outed yourself as a smart dude with all these videos.
Nice job. Its like everything else. Go after market is mostly fine for the DIYer where a couple of extra hours is no biggie, but in a shop where time is (serious) money then that two hours has to be paid for and I'm sure it often ends up being about the same price at the end of the day.
You are so dumb " Having a shop kitty make you stop from wanting to murder people"… rolling on the floor… hehehehehe
Very nice! You are a good man!
