Frank Jarrell says:

Is 2014 silverado is the same as 2011

SlayerOfTheBeast1 says:

Would it be alright to lift one tire put the spacer in then goto the other
side and lift it

Nate den Hollander says:

what size tires on on that truck? I have 265/something(?)R17s and idk if
that’s gonna look goofy

diablosmvpGQ says:

I would not want yall working on my truck

270wsm140gr says:

Thanks pasteboy

Frank Jarrell says:

Hey how do I put 2″ level kit on top of strut on 2014 silverado

Tungsten23 says:

Thank you for this video! Just got mine on my 09 Silverado Crew Cab!!

The sway bar nut was by far the hardest obstacle, sucker was rusted and
even with WD-40 it took alot of effort!

Do you need an alignment afterwards?

Tim datoolman says:

Good video thanks for taking the time to film it, it’s a big help.

TimberMadMan says:

alright so im about to put a leveling kit on my new 2003 z71 had some 18
inch rims with 285 tires on my old one and switching rims to the newer Z
would they be able to fit without rubbing?

Tim Nesbitt says:

jack up both front tires at the same time uses 2 jacks till there just
touching the round pull the bolts out of the bottom of the shock lift the
truck up evenly have a friend push down a little on the tire to make space
for the lift spacer to slide in put in the bolts drop the truck down done
in under 20 minutes both sides

Tungsten23 says:

Oh yeah, and for some reason, my passenger side slid in nice and easy but
the driver’s side was a struggle.. Idk, I started with drivers side (took
me 3 hours) passenger side took me 1 hour. All hand tools.

Chevy Silverado says:

Good video. Thanks for doing it. Going to help me with my install.

Lance Hiebner says:

What size rims are those on that truck? I am afraid if I do that to mine
that it is going to look weird unless I put bigger rims on it.

MrBiggleee says:

Does this kit make it perfectly level ? And I herd these kit ride like crap
do they or does it still ride all harder than stock

paisteboy says:

LOL. That’s cool. Got any suggestions for future videos bro. Thanks for
watching.

Craig Arndt says:

Gotta fix that jack, it’s easy. Just needs to be purged. I need to do this
kit to our Suburban. Looks ridiculous with the rear end up.

paisteboy says:

I added two links. One on the video clip when I mention it and one in the
video description. Who knows how long it would have been before I realized
that I didn’t add the link if you hadn’t said something. Thanks again for
watching.

TheWallyjp says:

u never put the link to the other video

BigCountry LSU says:

I just ordered this kit for my 08 GMC, did you go get an alignment
afterward? I hear some people say u don’t have to and others say u should?

paisteboy says:

About 1 1/2 to 2 hours

paisteboy says:

So it’s air in the jack not low fluid. Thanks.

TOPROLLER101 says:

goodwork guys

bigwheezy312 says:

paisteboy i think im your brother from ohio..same sled, same pickup, same
shit done to them. just glad you do them first and post a video lol

paisteboy says:

Thanks for the feed back and for watching. I’m glad it helped.

matt14424 says:

another fine video for when the weather is being mean

clarkys silvy says:

can you run 33’s on a 2 inch leveling kit?

Alberto Velazquez says:

Very good

shylildude says:

at 10:30 why did you insert the bolt from the bottom? wouldn’t it be better
if it was inserted from the top so if the nut loosens the bolt won’t fall
off?

paisteboy says:

Thanks for the reminder. I will update that now.

paisteboy says:

Cool. I keep that in mind and let my friend know. Fortunately my jack still
works great.

shennessy7207 says:

you should always get an alignment after you screw with the suspension…
even though it doesn’t jerk all over the place going down the road doesn’t
mean is isn’t affected…

ZachManZ71 says:

Outstanding Video Man!

paisteboy says:

I’m you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.

paisteboy says:

Thanks. That’s a little different on my channel, but not as much as my
fresh tomato sauce or sausage making videos.

wildman261 says:

cars are better paiste:)

paisteboy says:

I’m pretty sure the stock bolt was in that way too. Besides I think if the
nut comes off it won’t matter. It’s going to get ugly.

paisteboy says:

You’re probably right. If those tires wear out early it’s going to cost a
lot more than an alignment.

jreily88 says:

Note to self: Remember to not use wooden blocks as jack stands.

Josh Lorenz says:

how long did it take you in real time to install it?

Craig Arndt says:

Yeah, unless he has an oil leak. There is a small rubber cap that is the
fill hole. If the oil in there is low, add to it with jack oil. Once
filled, open the lower nut two full turns and pump 20 full strokes. Tighten
and lift something with the jack, see if it works. If it has air in it, you
cam pry the little rubber cap ever so much to let the air hiss out. Usually
this fixes it for me.

paisteboy says:

No alignment after. We didn’t disconnect anything that would effect the
alignment. Thanks for watching.

paisteboy says:

Yeah. The weather got cold again, but we didn’t get a lot of snow in the
immediate area.

elbatobeach says:

yes you can ,but get a wheel alignment because you have changed the camber
out.

paisteboy says:

Thanks for answering the question. I am a DIY guy, but this is my buddies
truck and really don’t know anything about it. I just knew it would make a
good video and that it could help people with this task. Thanks for
watching.

Josh Lorenz says:

Wanted to let you know that I did my truck with the help of this video, and
everything was very helpful. Thanks a lot this is the best video on the web
for it.
