Do they really come apart that easily? The Us market keys are press fitted and are permanent so if you are looking to swap the backplate out for a used vauxhall or Opel badged one you will end up with a destroyed key

Okay, so I’ve just done this on my Vauxhall Mokka key, the key fob opens / unlocks the doors fine but I can not start the engine!! Asking around iv’e been told that there may be an rfid chip as well as the green circuit board, I’m 99.9% sure that there was only a green circuit board, any suggestions on how to get the key to start the car?
