In this video I have a look at a customers 2012 Chevy Silverado that has the classic P0172 and P0175. It also has a P0101 so we’ll have a look at that too. These are both pretty easy to correct.
-Enjoy!

My crc can has not leaked…. Yet. Been using it for regular maintenance and to fix problems with my girlfriends car (nissan sentra). Been too afraid to touch wires with a Q-tip though ๐
Looking forward for the 400k Hondu
I would never spend any time under my own hood if I was in your town. If I watched every video you ever made, I would still be impressed by the next one.
I like that you're letting the customer know about the PCV system malfunctioning, and giving him the option to fix it—that's being thorough
Does the sunrise in the east?
Had to chuckle when you pulled up to the service bay door and mentioned that there was a headlight out.
I love scan tool videos the most.
They outta have a minimum of 50 hours of SMA watch time before you can take the ASEs, learn more from you than any college. Thanks for all the knowledge!
Eric,
Great video – thank you!

What scan tool do you recommend for a home warrior mechanic that does all of his own maintenance on a small fleet (6ish) of vehicles. I'm ok with spending $1000+ on it. Not sure if Autel or some other? And if Autel, which specific model? I'm more worried about saving time than saving money.
ethanol is garbage period
Hey Eric I thought that maybe that black ice hanging off the mirror would cause you to pass out while you're doing the test lol
I still love my Chevy, frame or no frame lol
It looks like that fuel trim was maxed out at 25.
Cat Tax at 14:50
BUCKLE UP ERIC! Not to nag but be safe brother.
Take that crc home for target practice
Eric, how did the alcohol setting get off so bad?
Mr. O, what brand of scan tool is it that you are using?
good job…….
What is that mini excavator doing in your yard? You work on these too?
Eric all of the scanners in your amazon store are unavailable due to being superseded. Any autel you recommend? Need ford 2004+ and Honda/Acura mostly. Something between DIY and Professional
I would love to look at a scan tool and see what Eric sees.
That sucks that maf cleaner leaks like that, stuff ainโt cheap
Always learn something from your videos Eric. Thanks for making them.
I drive a 2009 GMC 5.3L and it never burns a drop of oil and I only change when the warning tells me to. I always have used Mobile One 5W30 full synthetic just like recommended by the manufacturer and it has never ever burned a drop of oil. If you have LSGM engines that use a lot of oil you had better be checking the cam shafts because both engines that have the active fuel management have a problem with lifters going bad and they will call an engine to burn oil. The next symptom you will hear loud ticking noise from the lifters going bad. That was not a Chevrolet thing that was US federal democratic government and the EPA.
