Yeah, I still have my 2000 Silverado running strong with 225k miles on 5.3 Vortec that is paid off. I'm good.
Talk to the firefighters who have TRIED to put out a lithium battery powered electric vehicle.
You can't. One has to let the vehicles power source to consume itself.
So, as someone else stated. Imagine these vehicles starting mass fires in forests due to off-roading hipster idiots.

1. Insurance premium
2. Maintenance and repair costs
3. Overall life of battery pack
4. Warranty period and what does it cover?
If you buy a car and lease/rent the automatic transmission, will be a good idea. Since the automatic doesn't last long. Even this single speed automatic for this EV.
I don’t like the way they design the ev vehicles. Like just make em look normal, stop trying to make some kind of revolutionary, futuristic design. I want it to look like a truck, not a freaking cryopod.
I’ll stick with my Toyota Hilux X….40k with a bed liner and camper shell etc.

You just don't know how disappointing it is that most automakers use LG Chen batteries when Panasonic makes the most energy dense, safe, and reliable batteries. Hopefully they change to Panasonic or LG starts making decent batteries.
I honestly like to know what is the expected range under extremely cold and very hot conditions. I have already heard that Ford Lightening pick up under extreme cold weather in Montana that a single charge is only good for about 100 miles.

The Silverado ev sure looks a lot like my Chevy Avalanche. I'm going to stay with my 5.3L Vortec V8 Avalanche. I say No Thanks to the Silverado ev.

those look more like crucks ……….. i mean seriously …… you cant even switch out the bed for something more feasable for your line of work…… those things look more like stationwagons or them old suburbans without the back hatch. if the bed goes bad from hauling crap around you'd hafta change the whole body,…… bed should be seperated should and damage come to it.
thats the whole reason why its identified as a truck…. these aint truck, there kids toy's……
