Peddle travel excessive, ok, but looking at the inner workings underneath the drum, it should not be necessary to hand adjust the shoes, as the system used, is fitted with automatic adjusters, that operate when applying the foot brake, which is not working as designed. It would have made a better video had you fixed the reason why the auto adjusters weren't working properly.
Those wheel cylinders look like they have been replaced. Are they the correct size? They look like the at-rest size is too long forcing the adjustor screw to be all the way in.
