Scotty have you ever worked on a Canyonero?

Repurplecirculation says:

I've found it's usually the connector(s) not the sensors. These sensors, by themselves, are basically bulletproof (unless struck by lightning), have no exposed bits (hall effect sensor or something similar) – same goes for knock sensors – a piezo crystal sandwich (unless you hit one with a hammer, they just dont break, but the connectors & wires will). Check the connectors for corrosion, moisture, salt, dirt and clean thoroughly, then check that ABS light again – if good, seal the bastard together with a sealant compatible with the plastic/rubber/metal & heatshrink it with decent heatshrink tubing (note: silicone has acetic acid in it, so make sure it's not in contact with metal – or use a sealant that is spec'd for the job)

Tom Smith says:

Here in ohio we just put black tape over the engine light.problem solved

Dbf Crell says:

Drill a hole in old gas cap and force smoke into gas tank. This way you can easily test the entire evap system.

Jacob Jones says:

I have one of these. Gonna roll it until the wheels fall off. I cannot figure out why I have to wait an hour after running the engine to the store and turning it off. Before I can start it back up again. Too much fuel? Not enough air?

Scott Pensyl says:

Never trust an aftermarket gas cap. Even if its new.
