LOL Its never OK for a man to wear a dress

meTimetraveler says:

if you kept cranking the engine w/o gas you could have destroyed the fuel pump because they use the fuel to cool the pump. w/o fuel the pump will overheat.

cpumaster1989 says:

Must be nice mine is so seized.

AutoEclinic says:

Located in the under hood junction block. Thanks Michael and Aaron

AutoEclinic says:

No idea. I need more information. An engine requires 3 things to run. Fuel, fire, and compression. You are missing one of the 3. First I would check fuel pressure. Let me know what you find. Thanks Michael and Aaron.

2004 Chevy Impala ran totally out of gas, I put gas back in it, but it won’t start…….What shall I do?

AutoEclinic says:

There are two fuse boxes on the right hand side of the strut tower. According to the owners it’s in the upper box above the DRL relay.

michael mills says:

Can someone please tell me where the fuel pump relay is located? I’ve looked on both fuse panels (driver and passenger) am I over looking something? Ps. I’m new to my 04 impala. First chevy I’ve ever owned!

AutoEclinic says:

Thanks! We now have better lighting. Picked up some studio lights with the umbrellas.

Buzzramjet says:

Like the video how to, however how about some bright lights.

AutoEclinic says:

I would not cut the line. I would do everything I could to get it off. If not replace the line. I do not patching fuel lines. If you had a proper flair tool and enough line to stretch it, maybe. Best of luck. Let us know. Thanks Michael

WolfmanAF1 says:

How would you go about replacing a fuel filter on a 00 Chevy impala where someone didnt use a flare wrench on overtightened but and stripped the corners on the but? Someone gave me a repair kit where I would cut the line and install a section using a compression fitting but I was wondering if that was safe.

AutoEclinic says:

Yes, it would be very similar. Some GM have the flare nut on both end or both quick connects. On the quick connect end usually you can press both tabs on the retainer an pull. It may require a pocket straight screw driver to help. Sorry for the delay.

AutoEclinic says:

Sounds to be mechanical. Possibly the cable adjustment or components that actually apply the parking brake.

AntKozable says:

Would a ’98 Pontiac Transport Montana happen to have the same filter? Or at least the same type ends? What did you use to pop the tank end off with, I couldn’t quite make it out? Do you push a couple of tabs in to get it to pop out? Thanks for the vids, keep ’em coming! Regards.

I would luv to be an a.s.e cert great motivation 313 luv

dunnrite tallboy says:

I’m the man in my city too 313 luv keep the vids going

AutoEclinic says:

Of course. It does not have to be on a lift. We use the lift to make it easier for the viewer to see.

AutoEclinic says:

Metric. It is best to use a line wrench. That keeps from rounding the nuts. Especially if they haven’t been changed or been exposed to road grime.

AutoEclinic says:

Thanks Mike! Spilled fuel is costly and dangerous!

juangutierrez890 says:

And also I know this question is irrelevant but every time I press the parking/emergency brake the rear right wheel gets stuck any ideas on that? maybe you guys can make a video to shed some light on my situation I own a 2002 impala

juangutierrez890 says:

Nice seems pretty simple but do I really need a stand? Can I just jack it up and place some towers under the car?

meTimetraveler says:

I can’t stand under my car

AutoEclinic says:

In this case it does not matter. You are still getting the same effect, which is removing the pressure off the fuel system.

Enrique Gonzalez says:

standard or metric and 12 point or 6 point?

Enrique Gonzalez says:

Does removing the fuse always help turn the car off or does it differ

AutoEclinic says:

On this like most gm fuel filters I use a 16 mm and a 20 mm. That work for me. Best of luck and keep the questions coming.

Enrique Gonzalez says:

What size wrenches do you use to remove the fuel filter?

AutoEclinic says:

@Mike Muril Thank you. Manufacturers differ in procedures Always double check your particular application for proper removal.

Mike Muril says:

Awesome instructional video – thank you Gents. I especially liked the portion about relieving the fuel pressure. I as a DIY home mechanic would have FREAKED over spilled fuel.
