Couldn't have done this without this video big thanks! It's very different than any other door regulator I've ever done and was honestly the hardest out of them all…y'all made it look easy haha

Hugo José Domínguez says:

from Venezuela. my friend, excellent explanation.

Captain Kangaroo says:

9 and a half minutes. It took me 2.5 hours.

George Rhodes says:

Where you get rivets.what size..

Leslie Ann Albright says:

You do a very comprehensive video. Thank you. One question, what size rivots do we need? Thank you. And will one rivet gun work with different sizes?

Chris Walsh says:

what if the window is up and wont roll down?

Anthony Amodei says:

what if the window doesn't go down.

Bret Jefferson says:

Yeah except you forgot to mention the top track has a steel "stop" at the end that's darn near impossible to bend flat, then pound back into the doors direction to then stop the top roller from immediately popping out. Yeah skip the intricate part to make a quick "easy" POP goes the top roller..mEXCEPT NOT ON MY 99 ZR2 , THERES A STEEL STOPPER AT THE END WELDED IM PLACE!! HAPPY TO SHARE THE VIDEO!!! JUST ASK

Shawn Eyer says:

scott endicott says:

Very helpful. Thanks.

Ben Paradude says:

Very helpful, easy instal…thanks

David Palmer says:

Would it be easier to only change the motor ?

Dario Mendoza says:

Thanks a millions you video. is as Complete as it can get unlike the other YouTubers. Who only show half the process!!!!!

Matt Garza says:

I found it easier to just use a cutoff wheel and cut the old one out in about three pieces, it makes it a lot easier to remove. I put the right wheel in first, but I put it in on the left side of the track, then the left wheel, then the top wheel I put on the right side of the top track (if memory serves me). Drilling out the rivets is a fucking nightmare. Also, I didn't find it necessary to remove the speaker, probably due to cutting the old regulator out.

This is not meant to be a criticism of this video at all. Everyone does it a little differently. 1A/TRQ has excellent videos and products.

Jeffrey Smith says:

Any tips on lowering the window when the motor does not work?

Mike Sullivan says:

EXCELLENT VIDEO!! I put the driver's side in about a year ago and every video I watched, they struggled. You could tell, major editing. I positioned my window as you showed and the install I did today on the passenger side went smooth as silk! THANKS!!!!

Crazy-Horse Crazyhorse says:

Must see video, this video gives step by step, easiest way to remove and replace the the window regulator. Very grateful for this video, thank you. My local advance auto parts employee, never mentioned or offered the pop rivets / hardware kit, had to order the hardware kit next day. Peace Crazyhorse. P.S. NOTE: I didn’t remove the speaker, but I will, before I install window regulator.
As you can see it makes lining up the track arms so much more easier, with the speaker removed.. Best how to video, on YouTube. You’ll thank the poster of the video, and yourself for watching this video.

NINJA. WIDAGUN says:

What if your window won’t go to the down position

Walter Mroczka says:

How do you lower the window when the motor is dead?

Rotha K says:

I never knew those barbed door grabber things were called pitons. Then he said hokey-doos and I was like ohh ok pitons is made up then he said pitons again and Hookey doos again and I don’t know what’s real anymore

Greg Roy says:

Why someone would put back that crappy delco speaker I dont know. Lol

Rokit Rik says:

Key to getting that first roller into the channel is raising the window a bit. I saw in your video that is what you did. After struggling with this for hours with the window all the way down, that did the trick for me!
