Alberto Mendez says:

i bought a 2003 yukon with 204k the fluid looks light brown should i just replace the filter and and the the 4.5 to 5 quarts or just do a complete flush and put all new fluid

JayzBeerz says:

Looks so easy but hard to do by a novice. Guess I’ll just have to get robbed at the dealer.

Bill Bright says:

You can leave the grommet in place and simply put new filter in place. It’s simply a holder for filter and does not degrade.

idrinkyourmilkshake idrinkitup says:

Thank you for including the filter seal/ gasket removal!! That’s exactly what I was looking for!!

H Sanchez says:

Just would like to know what size extensions I need to purchase for this

Francisco Rodriguez says:

15 foot pounds? 11 should do just fine

Robert Dudley says:

What type of transmission fluid does the 2004 Chevy suburban 1500 hundred use?

ThePortadump says:

Is there any gasket on something on the exhaust pipes you have to take off? Don’t want to put them back but not add any gasket and then have a leak.

301steady says:

Do you happen to remember how much ATF fluid it took to reservice the transmission?

Jeff Tencate says:

My Escalade suddenly stopped moving it would rev but not go anywhere, if I let it sit a while then try it again it will move for a minute or so then stop again? Can this happen if the filter is clogged it's 160k probably never been changed bunch of little metal in the pan some globs of it also

Caleb Oldhouser says:

What is the deal you are replacing called?

The Narwhal master says:

I'm doing this to my Escalade the truck moves for a few minutes in gears then it stops and goes into a " neutral" kind of mode when in any gear and just revs without moving. Could this happen if the oil filter is clogged someone told me that since it works than stops working

Chris Leggett says:

Our 04 does not have a drain plug 🙁

James Macci says:

I had trouble with my 2007 gmc sierra 1500 classic filter cork seal. I pulled out the old filter cork seal but while inserting the new one, deformed it. I got it inserted but the neck on the filter did not fit snug and was loose. When I replaced the oil pan, the filter seems to hold in place by the pan. Should I be concerned about this?

thans11 says:

Video is helpful thank you for going to the effort to make it.

JP Oner says:

This the same process for a 1994 caprice classic? Tightening those inside bolts?

darius318 says:

if you don't have a drain plug I recommend a fluid/oil transfer pump, I paid about $10 (hand pump) and you can stick the hose where the dip stick goes and pump most of the fluid out

Don Nato says:

How many liters exactly for refill…please.
Thanks.
The Dealer recomend…7.5lts.
Piston ring 5.5lts.
Canadian tire say 8.0lts.
